Lay your skis out on a flat, hard surface and unbox TipStix®. Installing should be done in a room temperature setting, and skis should NOT be wet or cold.
TipStix® will need to be installed at a reachable distance (no more than 8 inches from the front of your ski bindings). TipStix® should be centered, with the triangle pointing forward. For individuals shorter than 6ft/1.83m tall, you may install TipStix® less than 8 inches from the front of your binding to ensure the easiest reach. Place your TipStix® on each ski for a visual reference and adjust distance for maximum comfort.
Remove your TipStix® and place them to the side. Open the 99% isopropyl alcohol wipe that comes with TipStix®. Gently rub the front of your skis where you will be installing TipStix®. Wait 3-4 minutes until skis are completely dry.
After the alcohol has dried, open the adhesion promoter and wipe in the same manner as you did the alcohol. Wait at least 2 minutes but no more than 10 minutes to perform the next step.
Pull the red film off the bottom of each TipStix® to reveal the sticky adhesive side.
Where you measured previously, place TipStix® adhesion side down and press and hold for 60 seconds. Repeat with the second ski. Pro tip: Flip your skis upside down after and put a weighted object on each ski to continue to apply pressure. You can also apply pressure by “sandwiching” the skis with a weighted object while they are in a standing upright position. Wait 72 hours for full adhesion of the product.
Congrats on installing your TipStix®. Now, get ready to experience the freedom and convenience of TipStix®.
